How do I change the symbol?

Changing the color, look, and spacing of your symbol

In the Looka editor, you have the ability to change the symbol, it's color as well as it's position. 

Changing the color of your symbol

  1. Click the logo you'd like to edit from your Saved page

  2. Click Symbol in the top menu or click on your symbol

  3. Select the circle menu (color picker) option on the far left

  4. Choose a new color variation for your symbol with the pre-selected or previously used colors. You can also alternatively add a color hex value for a specific shade you would like or choose select a different shade in the shader box

  5. Once you've decided on your color, your logo preview will update with your changes

Choosing a different symbol

In order to change your symbol to another image follow these steps and the GIF below:

  1. Click the logo you'd like to edit from your Saved page

  2. Click Symbol in the top menu or on your symbol in the logo

  3. Type in a keyword on the far left of the symbol finder to search for more symbols

  4. Enter in your new symbol concept and find one you like

  5. Select the symbol you like and your logo preview will update

Symbol spacing

  1. Click the logo you would like to edit

  2. In the top menu, select Edit symbol

  3. In the symbol menu options, click the Position button

  4. Slide the circle in the spacing menu left to right to move your vertically or horizontally

  5. The logo preview will update while you are moving your symbol spacing around

Adding a container around your symbol

  1. Click the logo you'd like to edit from your Saved page

  2. Click Layout in the left panel

  3. Scroll down to find a layout version where only the symbol is inside of a container *Note* The layout tab may change the appearance of other aspects of your logo (ie font, colour, ). You want to select the version with the container around the symbol and then edit the other elements back to their original style.

  4. Click Containers on the far left to scroll through the container options

  5. Click Change on the container variation menu to get either Filled or Outline Containers you like and your logo will automatically update

*Note* There cannot be a container around the symbol and a container around the logo, there can only be one container in the logo.
