This article is specifically for those who are trying to download their logo from the post-purchase email or the post-purchase screen. If you've already navigated away from the post-purchase screen or are returning to your logo after some time away from the site, click here.
After purchase, our logo packages are sent as .zip files, which is a way to compress the files and send them all to you in one folder.
Zip files are sometimes associated with viruses, but we assure you the logos from our site and through our emails are secure downloads. Some internet browsers like Google Chrome and Firefox have safety features built in to them to prevent malicious downloads from making their way onto your computer, and they send warnings when downloading them.
If you use one of these browsers you may have experienced this issue when trying to download your logo files. To learn how to open the files, follow the instructions below.
Google Chrome:
Click the download link we provide in an email
You'll be asked to specify a folder to download the file to (usually in your Downloads folder)
Click Save
On the bottom of your screen, you'll see the file downloading. When it's done, you may get an error saying Filename.zip is not commonly downloaded and may be dangerous.
Click the little arrow pointing up next to Discard
On the menu that pops up, click Keep
You can now click the folder icon to open your zipped logo files
To learn how to extract your logo files, please see this article: How do I extract the files you sent me?
Firefox:
Click the download link we provide in an email
You'll get a pop-up window saying You have chosen to open: Filename.zip Which is: Compressed (zipped) Folder from https://s3.amazonaws.com What should Firefox do with this file?
Click Save File, then click OK
Click the Downloads arrow in the top right-hand corner of your screen; it should have changed color
You may get an error saying This file is not commonly downloaded and may not be safe to open. It may contain a virus or make unexpected changes to your programs and settings. You can search for an alternate download source or try again later.
Click Open
You'll then see your downloaded folder pop up on your screen with your logo files
