JPEG is one of the most commonly used image formats, though it is not suggested to use JPEGs for your logos. The reason being is that when words are present in a JPEG, the file ends up looking blurry as the format cannot support such rigid straight lines, and look more blurry when the writing is thinner. JPEGs also do not possess the ability to include transparent backgrounds like PNG files.

If you wish to continue to convert your new logo to JPEG, follow these steps depending on your operating system:

Mac:

  1. Locate a PDF or PNG file you wish to use in the folder we sent to you

  2. Click it to Preview your image

  3. Choose Export from the File Menu

  4. Select JPEG as the format

  5. Add a name and file location where you would like to save your new JPEG file

Windows:

  1. Locate a PNG file you wish to use in the folder we sent to you

  2. Right click on the file and navigate to the Open with option

  3. Open in Paint

  4. Select the File Menu and the Save As option

  5. Select JPEG from the menu

  6. Add a name and file location where you would like to save your new JPEG file

If your device does not possess the ability to make these image conversions, use this website to convert PNGs to JPEG.
